What is the purpose of this site?

I work at an animal hospital in Cary and since starting there two years ago I have found that there are a lot of pets in this area that need a helping hand and a good home.  I have exhausted my resource of friends that need or want pets and now I need to reach out to others.  This site is for anyone in the Triangle area who would like to find a home for their own pet or for a stray they have located.  This site is also for anyone who can find a special place in their home or heart for a new friend and companion.
